Included heating element can be used to add warmth to the main entree, but when necessary each MRE can be consumed cold. As seen used by disaster relief agencies around the country.

Easy to pack and take anywhere.

Meals are pressure-treated, heat-treated, and vacuum sealed. Typical weight (depending on contents) is 18 to 26 oz. with only 5-6 oz. being packaging. Meals are ready to eat right out of the bag.

Note: MREs do not have an expiration date. They have an inspection date and a pack date. The Inspection date is three years after the pack date, and the inspection date is the date the Military inspects the cases during long term storage to verify they are still fit for consumption. Manufacturers suggest that meal contents are good for approximately 5 or more years when stored at room temperature. Meals stored in cooler temperatures stay fresh longer. Always store your MRE’s in a climate controlled area.
