Only a part of the UWPS (Individual Water Purification System), and intended to be combined with iodine, chlorine or other similar treatments to remove potentially harmful viruses. However, the built-in charcoal filter will remove the taste/odor created by such treatments, greatly increasing the enjoyment of your drinking experience.
