This U.S. Army M41 Field Jacket is a brand new reproduction of the famous Field Jacket issued to soldiers at the beginning of U.S. involvement in World War II. Wind-resistant. Durable. Dependable easy-moving comfort across a wide range of environmental conditions. Based on a design suggested by Major General James K. Parsons, this utilitarian all-cotton Jacket was intended to replace the all-wool field coat issued during World War I.
These Reproduction M41 Jackets are made to close visual specs with the original WWII-era versions. Light Olive Drab color is a match for unissued Jackets before the typical weathering in the field that tended to turn the color to more of a khaki tone. Updated materials add extra durability and wrinkle/stain-resistance, perfect for today’s modern WWII reenactor or military historian.
