U.S. Navy Surplus Carrier Flight Deck Vest, New

This U.S. Navy Vest is the same kind once seen worn on the flight decks of U.S. aircraft carriers. Brown jersey color denotes a Plane Captain, tasked with upholding cleanliness and general condition of all assigned aircraft as well as ensuring inspections and repairs are carried out. This is an older Vest, probably of a similar vintage to the ones seen worn by flight crew in many popular Cold War-era films.

This Vest is oversized to fit over a matching PFD (Personal Flotation Device). No such device is included here, but what you do get is the vintage Outer Vest perfect for any military or aircraft carrier historical collection.
